Palm Tran also has a publication called the "Palm Tran Rider's Guide." It lists major destinations in the county, and which bus route they are on in addition to the maps and timetables for all Palm Tran routes. |

 | How much does it cost to ride the bus? Answer:
Regular full fare (single trip) is $2.00, half fare is $1.00, and children age 8
and under ride free with a fare paying passenger. An unlimited daily pass costs
$5 or $3.50 reduced. These passes can be purchased on the bus and you should
have exact change ready when boarding because fare boxes do not give change.
However, a fare card will be issued for over-payment in excess of $1.00 which

 | When do Palm Tran buses run? Answer:
Buses run 7 days a week, serving more than 3,200 bus stops from Jupiter to Boca
Raton and west to the Glades. Generally speaking, weekday peak service runs
every 30 minutes, off-peak service runs hourly, and weekend service runs hourly
on most routes. |
 | Does the Palm Tran bus have service on holidays? Answer:
There is no bus service on the following days: New Year’s Day, Easter Sunday,
Memorial Day, 4th of July, Labor Day, Thanksgiving Day, and Christmas Day. Click

 | Can I bring my bicycle on the Palm Tran bus? Answer:
Yes. The "Bikes on Buses" (B.O.B.) Program started July 1, 2000, so you can now
put your bike on the rack in front of the bus. There is no additional charge and
no permit is required. Buses cannot accommodate mopeds, gas or battery powered
motor bikes or scooters of any kind, or tandem bicycles. Portable bikes and
scooters (only if secured into a carrying case or bag) are allowed inside the

 | I am a senior citizen who is no longer able to drive. Is there transportation available for me? Answer:
Palm Tran Connection (a shared ride, door-to-door paratransit service) is available for qualifying individuals who are unable to transport themselves to health care, employment, education, shopping, social activities, or other life-sustaining activities. For eligibility and an application please call 561-649-9838 or toll free 877-870-9849.
Palm Tran fixed-route buses travel throughout Palm Beach County and offer a half fare for seniors age 65 and over. Buses can kneel down to curb level, accommodating passengers with special needs.  | Where can I park my car if I want to use public transportation? Answer:
Palm Tran has several convenient park-and-ride locations for riders to utilize. There is no additional charge to park in one of these lots. Call customer service for specific location information 561-841-4BUS or 877-930-4287. Parking is also available at Tri-Rail stations.
