The Training & Safety Division is responsible for the initial training and continuing education for the existing 1400 certified Firefighters, 200 support personnel, and the Firefighter recruits utilizing state-of-the-art technology to deliver consistent, repeatable training.

Three personnel assigned to the Video Production Department support the Training & Safety Division by producing training videos distributed over County Cable Channel 20. The Video Production Department provides video and still photography for scheduled seminars, conferences, promotions, and graduations.
